Co-sign. I thought when they were orginally looking for Effie, they wanted a plus-size singer (like Jennifer Holiday was when she was on Broadway). I think the main reason Fantaisa didn't get the role because she was considered too small (not because of her reading problem). Even some of our plus-size singers have lost weight (Faith, Kelly Price).
But like you said, this is Hollywood.
