How much more brutal could it get? Instead of cutting off heads on the internet, they will bring in Al Jazeera to do a live broadcast?

I just don't see the tradeoff and benefit using that argument.

And one can say the brutality of Sherman won the civil war, but you're the soldier so you would know better than I.

The Brittish used brutal tactics during the American Revolution, it only made the Colonist fight harder.

The French tried the same tactics on the Hatians.

Santa Anna took NO prisioners at Goliad and the Alamo.

The Germans and Japanese were especially BRUTAL on anybody they caught.

WE destroyed MANY a Vietamnese villages...

These guys all have one thing in common.....

My point is this, brutal tactics only strengthen your enemies resolve. It makes his sons want to fight you.

But we know that wasn't about "obtaining" information. If it was then they wouldn't have placed it in a the hands of a freaking sergant and his private gf.
