I really dont want this to come off as rude, but have you ever been in an abusive relationship before? Yeah, a lot of women would be less scared to walk into an abortion clinic than go to the police. Many battered women even refuse to press charges when the police come TO THEM. Now I have never been in an abusive relationship, but I know people who have and from the outside, its difficult to understand why you wouldnt get out of that situation, but a lot of times women are just paralyzed by the fear and that if they try to get out, they will be hurt again or worse, killed. The time a woman is MOST likely to be killed in an abusive relationship is when she is trying to get out of it.
