Thanks. Turns out he had (I'm thinking positively after 1 1/2 hours of sleep since Tuesday night) "elf hats". His school nurse double checked me this afternoon and I'm clear, although still itchy everywhere! I checked DH and both teens this AM and all were clear, but will endure twice daily hair checks for at least 7 days.
Teen #2 is following his normal strep pattern and his fever spiked again this afternoon. He's almost back to normal temp now and it should be smooth sailing from here on out. Currently he's watching TV while doing homework, and I didn't even have to remind him!
Teen #1 came home with a stomach bug from school but is already feeling better thank heavens. As long as they all are coherent I think DH is going to kidnap me and pay someone else to feed me this evening.
Hope the washing machine holds up
