I had a computer programming teacher who told me I would never hold a job in IT. Still wondering how he made that assessment as it was the first class in the major and we were only 3 weeks into the term. Oh I forgot to mention that he had a 75% attrition rate, there were 5 people inlcuding me at the end of the semester and only 3 successfully passed the class. Sadly I was not one of them (see his above comment). Anyway I ended up transferring schools shortly after, his class was no longer needed for the major, and I graduated with a major GPA of 3.75. I also managed to successfully hold several jobs in IT, and left it of my own choice.
