If I could have gone to an island to have my wedding, I would have but my grandparents are so elderly, I didn't want them to travel like that. Preach! I am telling you, it was the best decision I ever made. It was VERY little stress, I paid about a tenth (maybe a little more) of what the national avereage wedding costs. The cons are, getting people out to where you want to have your wedding. You may have to give up the idea of EVERYONE being able to go. But that is also a pro. You won't have to worry about paying $30 per plate (or more) for your mama's cousin's auntie's best friends's mailman who you have never met to come to your wedding. I really suggest for any bride, whether they are having their wedding in the US or abroad to KISS. Keep It Simple, Stupid!
