MidwestDiva and CodeBlue, I owe the two of you an apology.
I am not repenting for my opinion, only my attitude.
It is a massive irritation for me when people cry WOLF all of the time... For instance, I have a co-worker who cites racism on
any occasion that a white person is involved in one of her daily irritations... Alternately, if she has a problem with a black person, she cites jealousy. That bugs the crap outta me.
So...
Whenever I hear someone speak in what I feel to be a sensationalist tone, or they pull one of those, "Well it's because so-and-so is a such-and-such" comments... I get this malicious urge to be rude & sarcastic. Possibly adding fuel to the fire, or just inciting some sort of negative vibe/behaviour. It is a major character flaw on my part, and I apologize.
MD your comments irritated me because they sounded like someone whose had a bad experience with something and thereby labels all others. I may be wrong, I have no way of knowing, and frankly, it doesn't matter. It was wrong of me to post in the attitude I posted in. If you didn't sense it, great! But, I have to "correct the negativity" from my end if you will... I apologize for my personal assumptions and attitude.
CodeBlue, your comments irritated me personally because, as I stated it all sounded so sensationalistic... Like on of those chain e-mails that tells you bad luck is imminent if you don't forward the item to 15 people. I was wrong for my attitude and my assumptions... I apologize to you too.
Now that doesn't change how I feel
about the comments you made... But there is enough drama around here without my sarcastic mouth contributing to the fire.
Now I realize neither of you needed my apologies... but you know, good vibes are good vibes, and I'd rather transmit those.
I didn't modify my previous posts or send private e-mails for this because I am hoping that those who've already read what I
had to say will read this and accept my apology too. Our GC Moderators attempt to weed out the crap, and they do a good job... But I can take responsibilty for my words/attitude too.
