Wow! That's great! I have not had any family cases of breast cancer, but the mother of my best friend in Junior high died of breast cancer when my friend was only 16. When I moved away, I knew that her mom had been diagnosed, but I had not kept in touch with her for a while, and a year later I found out through another friend that her mother had passed away. It really hurt me because I knew her mom and that she had already suffered from diabetes her whole life and had trouble walking, but it hurt me even more that I could not be there to comfort my friend in her time of need.

It made me feel extremely guilty because my friend and I had had an unresolved arguement before I moved away, and I knew that if we had just appologized to one another, perhaps she would have called me when her mom died and I could have been there for her. :*(
