Things I do, just because
1) When using public restrooms, I use toilet paper to enter and leave the stall. I also use paper towels to turn on the faucet and open the restroom door.
2) I wash my hands as soon as I come into my apartment. Simply because I don't want the germs of the outside to stay on me while I'm "at home."
3)I always sleep with sheets/covers over my feet. I used to think there were monsters under my bed as a child who wanted to eat my feet or grab me under the bed. By putting coverings over my feet, I felt as if I were protecting my feet. Unfortunately, this habit hasn't ceased.
4) I wash my hands three times before I eat. Of course, I have to couple this regimen with lots of lotion.
5) I like using only black ink pens. The writing seems more permanent and professional than blue ink.
6) I have to wear earrings when I go outside. Otherwise, I feel naked.
7) At restaurants, I clean my eating utensils with lemons. I always ask for a bowl of lemons so that I can be thorough. Lemons are a natural astringent. I also need a straw. But I was at a formal luncheon yesterday, and I drank from the glass. I don't understand it, but let that ballroom turn into a restaurant, and I would have been like, "straw, please"
