I also boycott BET, because I feel that the station doesn't offer quality programming. I got tired of Comic View, videos, and old reruns. I wish BET had more of the black viewers in mind instead of the bottom line. I know money matters, but being the only "true" black television station, you would think they would want to try new ideas, and programming. Or at least be in line with MTV (read: producing their own shows). They have so much potential. But the most important reason for me to boycott BET is the video show with CITA. When she said the only rocks black people know of, are crack rocks, I refused to watch a show that would promote such ignorance, and self-hate in public about it's own people.
