I don't remember acting up too much in public. My parents raised me from a very young child on "how to act in public". Some stuff I see sometimes with kids, I know my parents would have beat my ass if I pulled that............I do remember if we had company over and I got bratty or whiny, my parents were not embarrased to yell at me in front of guests to put me in my place. I think some parents these days are afraid to do this, and give their kids whatever they want to prevent them from throwing a tantrum. I learned through their example, that when I acted like that though, the only one I was embarassing was myself though
