I HAVE to sleep with my fan on anytime of the year. People think I'm crazy. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that
I MUST sleep with 2 pillows.
The room feels dead to me if my stereo or TV isn't on.
Also, when I take a shower or bath, I turn the water on first and then go use the toilet. It's much easier for me to "go" to the sound of running water.
