I just really want to focus on school & do well rather than be one of those people that just show up & do a half-assed job in the hopes of passing. That kind of crap does not cut it in grad school.

This time, I'll be applying to schools closer to my new home so UC Riverside may *crosses fingers* be my new school. Being a realist, I'll also apply to other schools close to home in the hopes that they'll accept me. They did once before so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to get in again but you just never know.
I dropped out of my first grad school program for education because it just didn't feel right, and I wasn't happy at the school or with the program. I reapplied to the school that I probably should have chosen in the first place, got in, and now I couldn't be happier.

The moral of the story is: YOU CAN DO IT!
