I really like this girl I met and we get along perfect and she makes me smile with my heart and all that but shes the same height as me and taller with heels. Its a little awkward but Im trying to get over it... Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

I have had two past boyfriends who were my height. I got really into wearing flats during that time. I've also heard guys say that other guys think it is sexy if a guy is with a taller girl.

I've dated men who were my height before...quite a few, actually. They never seemed to mind when I wore heels--which, I might add, I will never give up, not even for the most perfect guy ever! I kind of liked dating guys who weren't tall because it's easier to kiss them (no standing on my tip toes!) and I could actually see their faces, so it was cool.

The funniest situation I've been involved a girl on a college basketball team.

It would be sad if you thought you weren't good enough for a taller girl - or a girl that is your height and "makes [you] smile with [your] heart."

My husband is the same height or maybe thismuch shorter then me. But he loves it when I wear heels. (Maybe that's why I never wear them )

Considering the fact that I'm 5'1... I've never dated a guy thats my height.

I've dated excessively tall *6'6* and a good medium 5'8. I was happy with both.

I'm sort of tall (5'8-ish) and I tend to prefer guys that are taller than me. BUT, I would never not date a guy I really liked because he was my height or a teeny bit shorter.
If the girl likes you and you like her then get over the height issue. It's hard enough to find someone you like that much...and if it becomes an issue maybe YOU can start wearing heels...haha.

I'm 5'3" but often wear heels so I'll be at least 5'5". I could *NOT* date someone my height. I have a height requirement of at least 5'9" or 5'10".

Call me shallow or whatever, but I don't care.

Two boyfriends were about my height. It didn't bother me, but I also never had a reason to wear heels with either of them.

I'm 5'10" and my husband's 6'4". I think that's perfect for us.

I'm 6'1" and I dated a girl that was just about that tall in heels...and I just didn't like it.

Great girl and it wasn't really about the height...but somethings just felt really odd and I didn't like it.

I'm only 5 ft tall, so dating a guy my height is out of the question.

Up until recently I only dated guys over 6ft tall (the tallest being 6ft 5). Its not that I excluded short guys, but it just seems that i always ended up with tall guys.

This summer I dated a guy who was 5ft 5 and I hated it. It was nice because I didn't have to jump or stand on a chair to kiss him, but I just didn't like dating a guy that short.

My current crush is 5ft 8 and I like that height. Close enough to kiss, yet he is tall enough to not make it feel weird.

See I won't date guys who are above a certain height. 5'7" is my ideal height for a guy. Of course... I'm barely 5'2". And I hate wearing heels.

Maybe this girl is the same way. Maybe she can still find shoes without heels.

I don't think it'd matter too much... but some of my friends would disagree with me.
