Okay...I have two part-time jobs to put myself through college and am at this point very frustrated with both of them right now...so...

I am a resident assistant on my campus and my biggest pet peeve is we get NO RESPECT from administration. I definitely work like almost 30 hours a pay period and that's when I am NOT on duty on the weekends...please tell me why I only get paid for 20 hours? Our RDs tell is it is because it is only a "stipend..." so if it is a stipend, why do I have to turn in a timesheet every two weeks and why the hell do I get my check through payroll? AND RAs don't even get free room and board like they do at most other schools...

I hate being stuck on campus from 6pm Fri to 6pm Sat or 6pm Sat to 6pm Sun if I am on duty on the weekends. That's 24-hour duty, and my friends are definitely rolling out. Nobody's here, especially in my upperclassman dorm...nobody calls the phone.

I hate doing rounds at 12 midnight.

But, all my co-workers are definitely cool, and so is my RD...so I guess I lucked out there...

I am also an SAT prep tutor for a highly popular SAT prep company. My biggest pet peeve is the PAPERWORK. I hate filing paper timesheets (PLEASE PLEASE switch to electronic! I have to bring the timesheets in person and the center is like 30 minutes away from my school), and then there are like six other forms that are due: I have to write lesson reports forms, expense sheets for my gas mileage, my schedule for the next two weeks, and more. I wish it were all just ONE electronic form I can fill out every two weeks.

Then I hate it when parents say, "Oh, you look so young..." when I show up on their doorstep to tutor their child. O.o...Okay, your purpose in saying that was...what? To get me to tell you how old I am? No, sorry.

And I hate keeping up with schedules. I just want to have a consistent schedule every week, but I have to make times when they are convenient for the student, and it's like hell.
