for all those out there looking for jobs, please read and re read your resume to yourself and let others look at it. I was reading this in a book today and thought it was kind of funny, but these people werent even considered for the jobs because of innocent mistakes:
“Excerpts of some hilarious mistakes found on resumes include:
1. “Instrumental for ruining the entire operation of a Midwest chain store.”
2. “Note: Please don’t misconstrue my 14 jobs as ‘job hopping.’ I have never quit a job.”
3. “The company made me a scapegoat, just like my three previous employers.”
4. “Am a perfectionist and rarely if if ever forget details.”
5. “I have lurnt Word Perfect 6.0, computor and spreadsheat progroms.”
6. “References: None. I’ve left a path of destruction behind me.”
