First of all, I want to thank all of you for your support---it meant a lot to me, and kept me motivated throughout this experience.

Well tonight was pref night and out of a possible 5 groups, I got invited back to 2.

Paige and Patty were the only two who were "brave" (I dont know if that is the word) to give me an invitation. I was pretty upset that Phoebe (my 1st choice) didn't give me an invitation, but I guess that is the way life goes.

I was told that cuts were based on grades (which i have the grades, so it wasn't that), and I also heard that many of the groups don't like girls who rush for a 2nd time. So, maybe that was it, but whatever.

Paige's pref party was nice, but I didn't click with them.
Patty's was awesome. They were my 2nd choice, but I seemed to really click with the girls. They did some little activity between 1 PNM and 1 active, and it almost brought me to tears. I really connected with the girl who was rushing me, she was soo sweet to me and I just had a genuinely good time there.

I guess I really have a tough night ahead of me. My mom is already mad to know that Phoebe didn't give me a 2nd chance, but she's really grateful to Paige and Patty (can you believe it, my mom actually came around to liking the idea of me joining a sorority! lol).

I dont think I have to choose right now. I can probably wait til next week and go to COB and if I can get to Pheobe, but then again, they dropped me, and going COB doesn't guarantee me a bid. I dont know...i thought I clicked well with the girls. Maybe it was because I didnt flat out say " this is where i belong"...i hinted to it, but didnt say it.

So I have some thinking to do tonight. I just really want to follow my heart and not join just because I want be in a sorority. I know y'all will say "Greek life isnt everything" but in all honesty, its been something i've been wanting to do since I was little...soo we'll see! Thanks again y'all.
