Well, during my freshman year at college my husband's roommate and I had a class together. When he found out where I was from he said his roommate (my husband) was from the same place, and he asked if I knew him. I didn't. We were eventually introduced, but that was about it.
After my spring semester final exams were over I was on my way home and saw my friend's roommate on the side of the road. I recognized his car from around campus. Since I knew we were both from the same city and he was a fellow student, I pulled over to offer my help.
We were about 40 miles from home so he decided to get a ride with me and leave his car on the interstate.
He got my home number and called me during the summer. We became friends and the following summer (1994) we began dating. Seven years later, we got married! It will be five months Oct. 26th!
And the rest, as they say, is history...
