If you were at a fraternity party, I would have to say skip the letters. I've seen guys hanging out at fraternity houses other than their own (sometimes more than their own) but not with letters on.

But if Joe TKE has a party at his personal house that isn't a "TKE party" per se, I would say wearing your letters is fine.
