One of the greatest skills we develop in college is learning which classes are important and which ones we can skip....similar to what work is important and what reading is not....
It's different for everyone, you can't say...ahh only skip this many times a semester, it varies considerably....just as long as you're smart enough to realize when to skip and when not too, kind of like my roommate first yr. who had a habit for sleeping through classes, labs, exams....
