i had all 4 removed at once and my dentist was really good. they gave me headphones with soothing sides (and to this day, i can't get even a cavity done without music), gas and novacaine (sp?). i slept through most of it except when they were working on the toothe that was impacted, i just felt a little pressure.
my doctor also gave me a list of things to do before and after (iron pills, tylenol every few hours). i also ate tuna fish a lot those first few days. i had minimal swelling and pain.
