Which NPC group?
You mentioned that there was one group you are really hoping for. Can I ask on what this preference is based? I hope you keep in mind the following:
--Other chapters in the area. You will want and need their support. I know some groups have little, if any, presence on the West Coast, so you may not want one of those.
--Extension plans. Look at the last few chapters that have colonized for a specific group. Were they well-supported by National officers? Were they ultimately successful?
--Personality. I know there is officer turnover in any group, but be sure that you can work with the women who will initially be helping you. Be sure your goals are in line with their goals.
