I am sorry your sister was in an accident. She cheated death and was pretty damn lucky to get off with minimal damage. I hope this is a hint and a half for her to wear her seatbelt. Next time she might not be so lucky.
My older sister was in a head on collision on St. Patty's Day 1998. A drunk driver hit her. Was not wearing a belt. She was hella lucky to get away with some facial lacerations (you could see her face imprinted in the glass of the windshield 4 months after the accident). Her worst injury was a severely broken leg. Broken in 7 places...the ankle alone was broken in 4. She was out of work for over 6 months and had to drop out of her nursing program.
Your sister also needs to carry her behind to a doctor...there could be internal bleeding.
