21 years ago I would have been one of those Asian American statistics.
I was kicked out of the Good Shepherd preschool when I was 3 years old. I refused to take naps, I'd wander outside to the playground and beyond, and according to my mom I had an obsession with hitting boys and pulling girls' hair.
My grandmother ended up taking care care of me till I started kindergarten and I think I ended up just fine.
