I don't have the life I imagined, but that's a good thing.
At 12, my dream was to be a stock broker (lol) and at 18, I wanted to be married and having a child by 25. And I've done none of that! LOL
My goal now (and has been for the last few years) is to have the life that God has ordained for me. I want to fulfill His purpose and it brings me joy to do that. I don't regret ANYTHING I've experienced up to this point, for I know that
"ALL THINGS work together for good for those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."
I'm happy with how my life has turned out so far. I'm engaged to an awesome man.
I have a great job (I can now see why God brought me here). I'm in the process of starting up a contemporary christian singing group. Yes, I've had my share of problems and dissappointments, but God has shown Himself strong through all of that by strengthening my character, giving my more wisdom, giving me more joy - what could beat that?
I can honestly say that I NEVER thought I'd be here (at this point in my life) but now, i can't imagine being any other place but here.
