These replies are excellent!!!

Ladies, you should all commend yourselves on how much substance you possess--well at least in answering this question. Just a few suggestions though.

1. I would not suggest mentioning family members who are
members or boyfriends (although I don't recall seeing any of
this). Honestly, no one truly cares. You need to make it on
your own recognizance.

2. Do not say you want to emmulate another individual. Deltas
are leaders, not followers. We need people not only to follow
all the paths that have been blazed, but also to make new
ones. There are always new issues to be addressed. and
finally,

3. be persistent, know your history, and be confident--not cocky.

from the responses I saw, I feel as though you all will make excellent candidates for potential membership.

and sorors, I understand you feel we should have received more responses, but it's all about QUALITY, not quantity. I'd prefer the intake to be reduced to an annyal amount of 10 who work, than 100 who do not. Just remember, all people are not interested in membership to uphold all principles of our organization, we want them to weed themselves out anyway. Because when the time comes, they won't be prepared, and you know what I mean.
