When his life is in order, his movies are boring. When his life has turmoil, they are brilliant.
Annie Hall is genius.
Bananas and Sleeper never fail to crack me up.

I like many of his movies: Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hannah and Her Sisters, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Purple Rose of Cairo, Radio Days, Sweet and Lowdown, Bullets Over Broadway, and Mighty Aphrodite.
Woody Allen is such a prolific writer and filmmaker that he is bound to have a few boring movies in there.

The only one of his movies I liked was Radio Days. I thought Annie Hall was dumb. I guess I just don't get him at all.

I also find him a little wierd. Or, as my friend heather would put it, "Yeah, he's Creepy McGoo."

LOL! He is creepy. When his private life became public in 1992/1993, I couldn't look at him or his movies and enjoy them for about six years.
