FYI, my friends are composed of people of all shapes and sizes, and levels of conventional "attractiveness"...
Anyway, this is definitely making me rethink whether or not I want to rush. I'm reasonably confident in my level of attractiveness and I doubt it would be an issue, but that's not the point - I want people to want to be friends with me because of my brains and my sense of humor and my way of caring about people, not because I might help attract a certain group of guys or anything like that.
