Wichita State is in a residential neighboorhood, so there really isn't a close hotel. I think the closest one is a Holiday Inn Express (on E. 32nd St. N) and there is also a Marriot Courtyard that is on that street too. This are right off the highway and should make it easy to get to the univeristy and back (plus, they ae located in a retail area so there are plaenty places to shop, eat, etc.)
