Actually, my experience is that carpet is worse than hardwood or laminate for pets -- dogs at least. Fur gets
in the carpet, and when the pooch has an accident, you may get the surface of the carpet clean, but when you finally do pull the carpet up, you'll wretch at the stains underneath.
