In my day, the mall had the movie theater in the same building. We would go to the movie then hang out after. It was "safer" then. I don't think I would allow my child to "hang out" at the mall today.

I feel ya. Our mall has movie theater as well as a game room. Plus the food court was the place to be.
I wonder if Pheasant Lane Mall is a Simon property because many of the rules listed in the article (dress commonly know as gang related are prohibited) are the same ones that our has.
