St. Mary's Homecoming
I attended the St. Mary's Homecoming Oyster Bake this past Saturday evening and am delighted to tell you all that one of our very own, the 2003-2004 Chapter President of the Iota Beta chapter, won the title of Homecoming Queen!!!
I want to say that this is the second time since the founding of the IB chapter in 1997 that an Alpha Phi won Homecoming Queen, the first time being in 1999 or 2000, so the girls were very ecstatic. It was a very close call this year, with the A-Phi rep narrowly beating out another Greek rep for the title. It took a great amount of effort for the chapter to pull off the win and I applaud the girls for everything they did to bring home a win for both the A-Phi rep and the chapter.
