hostels in rome and amsterdam
a close friend and i will be going to amsterdam and then rome for two weeks next month. shoot, it's right around the corner. we've gotten our plane tix and rail pass but we don't want to stay in expensive hotels. we're sort of slumming and bumming so to speak.
anybody stay at any hostels that were cheap and safe and close to cool things? she's had a horrid hostel experience so she's leery of hostels. but i've heard only good things about them. what about you?
