Post Hazing and Pledge Pins

I know this should probably go on the hazing boards but i think i'd get a better and honest response on here. I was talking with some friends of mine who aren't greek and they told me that wearing pledge pins is considered hazing. Aparrently its hazing because they have to wear them all the time. Im like that is ridiculous!!! Ya they have to wear them all day and night except when they are playing sports, sleeping or taking a shower. I feel that if your a pledge you should be proud to wear your pledge pin....i know i was. So do you guys consider wearing your pledge pin hazing. This hazing stuff is getting way outta control....i told them maybe i should sue the school because all these term papers are causing me mental anguish.....the college is hazing me!! LOL! =) What do you guys think? People also want to make the term pledge disapear and change it to something like LXA's associate member. I think that is crazy too....a pledge is a pledge is a pledge...doesn't matter if you call them associate member, new guys or whatever. The only difference is they don't know the ritual and i have. I think the term Brother and Pledge should stay the same.
