I'll be praying for your diamond's family - I can relate with the grandparents being married for a long time - I want to say they've been married at least 60 years, maybe more, so I know it'll be a tough adjustment for my grandmother to make, especially as she has been primary caregiver since my grandpa's first stroke 6 years ago.
adpiucf, I'm also thinking about your family tonight - glad that your grandparents are reunited in heaven!
Honey, I'm not entirely sure how my dad's doing - he called and left a message here for me to call my aunt's house, where they'll all be, after the funeral, so I'll know more later tonight. For my mom and I (my grandparents were wonderful about asking about my mother even after the divorce, and my mom made sure she kept in contact with them), it's tough, but we're both relieved that he's no longer suffering or in pain, and has been "released" from his state of being since the first stroke 6 years ago.
