With all the crazy people up there in NYC I'm surprised something like that hadnt happened earlier. In fact, any of you remember when there was an attempt to blow up the world trade center in 1993?

Yep. I remember back in 1993, wondering why we weren't doing "something" about it, and if it would happen again. But then again, where I lived briefly in NYC has been torn down because of the impact of 9/11. When I lived there, we would take people up to the observation deck, and show them our deck (we had some really cool landscaping on our deck) - it was that close.
Plus, the spot where Flight 93 crashed is only about an hour from me. I will NEVER forget 9/11!!
