I just wanted to share that I received an e-mail this morning advising me I was accepted as a Team Leader for World Youth Day to be held this August in Cologne, Germany!! Basically I'm heading up a team of other volunteers for some aspect of the running of
World Youth Day - which they are hoping to have an attendance of 500,000+!!
Now, all I need to do is find the money for the plane ticket to Germany for the mandatory training weekend in April and then again in August for the actual World Youth day (which is actually a week - but I'll be there for 3 weeks!).
Just wanted to share cuz I'm really excited to be going - especially since I haven't been back to Germany since 1993!!
