Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta, Lambda Theta Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta sponsored the event, which was to focus on African-American women's health, academics and personal issues; however, the event covered topics pertaining to women in general.

"It's important to come together as one and discuss not only African-American issues but female issues as well," said Nafisah Freeman, sophomore elementary education major.
