The inter/national headquarters of ASA, AXP, and LXA - just to name a few - do not recognized these groups of people. Simply put, there is not a chapter of the above mentioned groups at Slippery Rock. As such, any current students claiming they are members of these GLOs, are not members.
Now as to why a group not associated with an inter/national GLO may want to claim that they are - well that's simple too. They want the prestige that goes with being associated with such fine organizations.
So we can all be clear here. ASA, AXP and LXA - to name a few - are NOT running any underground chapters at Slippery Rock.
