Specifications for IG, colony, etc.

Hey all! I have found some other threads where some of you have discussed your organization's process for expansion. I was just wondering if anyone else would like to share on specifications for being an interest group, colony or SID, chapter, etc. I understand if there are things that you can't share, but I would like some examples to help model our process after.
