ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A troubled University of Central Florida fraternity has been dumped by its national headquarters.
The national Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) fraternity says it severed ties with the UCF chapter because of hazing incidents.
The fraternity has also been suspended by the university through the summer for the same violations.
A member of the PIKE pledge class committed suicide in November. The parent's of John Yancy claim hazing and drug abuse contributed to their son's death.
