Along the lines of the appearance of fidelity being important imagine this ladies:

Your new husband is having trouble adjusting to your marriage so he needs to spend a lot of time and spend the night with his girl-friend that coincidentally had a crush on him before you married him.

That just looks really bad.

Keep in mind that if she married too "early," married for the "wrong reasons," or its "just not what she thought it was going to be."

Thats not his fault.

However, she is certainly making it his problem. His misery. His misfortune.

IF nothing else, she is pretty selfish.
