I'm actually more flattered if someone thinks I'm attractive because of my personality. I've been told as much many times. Not only is beauty fading, it's not even really accurate.
To take it away from people for a bit, if I like something right away, chances are I get tired of it rather quickly. The music, or artwork, or architecture, or movies, or whatever that I'm not immediately sure what to think are the ones I go back to, and the ones that I ultimately find to be the richest and deepest in beauty.
Of course, I feel the same way about people. Sure, I'm as guilty as anyone else of being brainwashed by the fashion industry, so when I see someone immediately physically attractive, I notice it, and enjoy it. But for anything that lasts more than a few seconds, it doesn't even relate to any "list", because it's not even considered an issue.
