I could very well see that trip being postponed. From what I read this morning, it seems the US is really urging all of it's citizens to get out of those areas affected as soon as safe travel is available.
I personally don't think that I would WANT to be over there.
If you do end up going, i second whoever said stay in contact with the US Embassy.
