Hey - Just wanted to say it sounds like an awesome, relaxed way to recruit for two sororities! Each sorority sister would be able to put studies in their studying and jobs and family over recruitment!

While I was at Pitt, we experimented with an unstructured recruitment and by the time I left, we had gone back to a formal, structured recruitment. I would say the most important decisions and choices you could make would be to clear on the Panhel's rules and requirements of sisters and pnms. Like, how much communication can take place between sisters and pnms during the two weeks of recruitment? How long is the silent period, how can you be sure that each pnms has gone to the two parties - and if these concerns apply to your campus since you do have two sororities. We had 11 sororities recruiting, so the unstructured recruitment didn't benefit all chapters equally when over 300 pnms were rushing.

Let us know how it goes! P.S. - are you a big commuter school if you're in Dallas proper?
