If a group is Asian-interest or Latino-interest, how multicultural is that really? Shouldn't a multicultural group focus on ALL cultures?

Like Carol9a said, on many campuses they will just group all the AGLOs, LGLOs, etc. into one council called "Multicultural Greek Council" or "Ethnic Greek Council." But it doesn't mean that the individual organizations claim to be multicultural in purpose. My sorority is a Latina sorority, plain and simple. We do have sisters who are of backgrounds that are other than Latino (and we certainly do not discrimate on the basis of race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, disabilty, etc.), but the vast majority of our members (I would venture to say well over 95%) are of Latino origin. We were founded to meet the needs of Latina women in higher education, and to serve the Latina/o community, and I think even if our membership dynamic were to change someday, our mission would not.
