It's been a few weeks and a much needed update appears overdue. I've been working extensively with the chapter and things have been giong exceptionally well. Just a few weeks after calling the chapter advisor I was invited to join the board of alumni advisors. My presence has been well accepted and I'm quite excited to be able to donate my time to the chapter.
Late last week, the chapter approached me about alumni initiation and indicated that it should not be a problem and they are hoping to press the court and alumni initiate me in December. So, all-in-all I must say that things seem to have worked out for the best.
As I get more info I'll be sure to do a better job of keeping everyone informed. Take care everyone.
