Rolla police catch PiKA arsonist
ROLLA, Mo. -- Law officers have arrested and charged a man who they believe burned a parade float and damaged a nearby fraternity house._ Christopher Carmichael, 20, of St. Charles is charged with first-degree arson._
__ The Rolla Police Department says the fire was at 3:55 a.m. on Oct. 16 at Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 613 W. 9th St._ Besides destroying the float, the fire caused about $26,000 worth of damage to the outside of the house._ City police, the city fire marshal, state fire investigators and University of Missouri-Rolla police worked together on the case.
