Normally I tell people, either do it or don't. But if you do it, do it right.
In this situation you are doing it half assed. If you are going to go see him, make sure you go see him in a way that makes sure that it mazximizes you both being able to have a good time.
Why play games and be wierd about it? Thats self destructive and foolish.
