I believe that the South has a stronghold on the Republican votes. Between now and 2008, the Democrats need to build better relations and a better candidate to compete against whoever the Republicans have as Presidential candidate.

Since this is the Aftermath thread (or one of them anyway, lol), how/what are you doing? What is your chapter doing?
The only way the Demos will ever have a fighting chance in the South is to go Democratic Leadership Council, which I know makes people go crazy. But the fact is that a Northeasterner/West Coaster isn't going to fly in flyover America.
And Edwards is no real DLC guy.
